Tomorrow night, Courtney Love will lead what she is calling Hole in a sold-out show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire. To prepare for that gig, the frontwoman and her recruits – guitarist Micko Larkin, skins-man Stu Fischer and bassist Shawn Dailey – performed on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.
Unsurprisingly, the number Hole decided to return with was not Celebrity Skin or Violet, but new one Samantha. The song, co-written with Billy Corgan and Linda Perry, is a taster from Love/Hole’s long-time-coming album Nobody’s Daughter.
Anyone hoping for a car-crash performance from the leading lady may not get their wish here…
