Limp Bizkit channel Daft Punk(?)

We understand that 2010 is basically just a waiting game for the next Limp Bizkit album, so behold some further news on its development! With a name like Golf Cobra, the band’s fifth record is already destined for greatness, but now there’s more to ease your longings.
In a video interview with Guitar Edge, returning guitarist Wes Borland gave Golf Cobra an interesting sell. “I think that everyone who hated Limp Bizkit before will continue to hate Limp Bizkit,” the man said (sagely).
“It’s not like we all of a sudden grew up and started making smarter music. It’s definitely a fun party kinda vibe, it’s a little like the old stuff but with a Daft Punk vibe thrown in.”
