Sure, it’s not – śnews’ per se, but the latest edition of the long-running Saturday Night Live saw one Dave Grohl steal the show. With Them Crooked Vultures on the show as musical guests, Grohl also popped up in a skit alongside host Ashton Kutcher and SNL regulars Bill Haden and Fred Armisen.

Grohl’s role as drummer of aging hardcore punks Crisis Of Conformity recalls his funny-man persona of early Foo Fighters videos, before things got all serious and beardy. The skit is a riot for fans of California greats Corrosion Of Comformity, or indeed anyone who has wanted to smash up a wedding reception.
