There’s no stopping the momentum of rock juggernaut Them Crooked Vultures. Having left punters reeling and speakers busted across Australia, the trio is now looking to record a follow-up to last year’s self-titled debut.

Speaking to Stuff.co.nz ahead of their show in Auckland, John Paul Jones was confident there’s still fire in the tank. “We’ll do a second album this year,” the Led Zeppelin legend confirmed. “By the end of summer, something like that.”

With that kind of work-rate, perhaps we should’ve considered a return of the Vultures in our 2010 Tour Predictions?
