If you’ve ever wanted to break the bank for a worthwhile cause while gaining something special in return, this might just be your chance.
Charity Oxfam and a collection of artists have joined forces to put some truly once-in-a-lifetime pieces up for auctions.
Amongst the exclusive loot on offer is a rare Roland drum machine as used by the Chemical Brothers, the Stanley Donwood linoprint featured on the cover of Thom Yorke’s The Eraser, VIP tickets to the sold-out Glastonbury Festival and a private performance by The Magic Numbers in your backyard.
But arguably the most prized item of all that’s on offer is the contribution of Blur and Gorillaz’s mastermind Damon Albarn. In his words: “The sucessful bidder will own a recording of a composition especially written performed and recorded by Damon Albarn for their exclusive personal use”. As expected, bidding is currently at a whopping £5,100 (Over AUD$9,000).
Check out everything that’s on offer here. Bidding ends February 1st.
