Jane's Addiction recordingagain

If the imminent arrival of Jane’s Addiction (just under a month now) for Soundwave Festival wasn’t cause for celebration enough, the band has announced plans to have another go at a fourth album. In a post on Facebook, lead lothario Perry Farrell was upfront about the potential for things going wrong.
“Monday we get together to write new music and craft a future,” the post reads. “I’m very patient, because it’s only been, what, eighteen years, so I can’t expect things overnight to be perfect.”
Patience is something all Jane’s members will need. Their last attempt at making new music ended in a clash of egos, which NIN/JA tourmate Trent Reznor was called on to diffuse. “He was a little gun shy after seeing us explode on each other in the studio,” Farrell told Reuters UK last year. “He became the referee for a day and after that day I think he was done.”
Should all go well, this will be the first Jane’s Addiction album with the original line-up since Ritual De Lo Habitual in 1990.
