Despite the disapproval of co-founding member Eric Erlandson, the Hole – œreunion’ will hit the stage in 2010. As announced by The Guardian newspaper last week, Courtney Love’s troupe has a show scheduled at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on 17 February.
However, the band will be Hole in name alone. Love’s new line-up includes studio partner Micko Larkin, bassist Shawn Dailey and drummer Stu Fischer. Other dates are planned for Amsterdam and Milan, and very likely further afield.
Back in June, Love announced she would release the long-delayed Nobody’s Daughter album under the Hole name, with contributions from fellow – œ90s reviver Billy Corgan. Unsurprisingly, it’s still without a release date.
