There’s a Christmassy headline for you. According to a report in The Croatian Times, a Bulgarian man Alexander Alexandrov this week murdered his neighbour for listening to Robbie Williams on repeat.

The victim Martin Kromov had reportedly listened to Williams’ 1999 single Angels on full volume for over a week, attracting the ire of Alexandrov.

“I was in constant terror of his music,” Alexandrov told the court. “I could no longer think about anything but making him turn it off.” Unsurprisingly, the court didn’t agree that torture-by-Robbie-Williams was ground for murder, and sentenced the man to 16 years in gaol.
