Guns - œN Roses world tourbegins
Tue 15th Dec, 2009 in International News
For better or worse, the Guns – œN Roses juggernaut (or Axl Rose Show, if you prefer) has fired up again. The corn-rowed one and his cast of Gunners played their first show in over two years at the Taipei County Stadium on Friday night.
If the arena spectacular ever makes it down under, you can now rest assured it won’t be all Chinese Democracy. The band inspired much ecstatic crowd Twittering by playing a generous portion of classics over a two-hour-plus set.
Of course, this bombastic comeback isn’t why Axl has been in the news recently. The occasion has been diminished somewhat by the – œincident’ at the Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday, when the frontman tussled with paparazzi. It’s like the – œ80s never ended!
