With Damian – œPink Eyes’ Abraham as their fearless leader, the festive crew includes Andrew W.K., Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, Tegan & Sara, Kyp Malone and several more. Now the raucous song – which shares little with the – œ80s original captained by Bob Geldof, Phil Collins and George Michael – is available to download on iTunes.

All proceeds go to a trio of Canadian organisations committed to stopping the mistreatment and murder of indigenous women in Canada. This new version may just be the antidote to Christmas you need.
