If you want to get excited about the forthcoming Blur documentary No Distance Left To Run, this stirring teaser trailer should do the trick.

Slated for a January 2010 release, the film is built around the Britpop heroes’ triumphant comeback shows in June. Directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace have pulled together archival material from the heady early days with new interviews from the band members. It also looks like we’ll get to see incredible footage taken on-stage at the Hyde Park performances.

According to the press spiel, No Distance Left To Run “recounts the highs and lows of a very British band from the late – œ80s to their headline return at Glastonbury and Hyde Park. The result is a musing on Englishness and identity and a portrait of friendship and resolution.”
