Epitaph Records is an independent record label owned by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. The label was originally “just a logo and a P.O. box” created in the 1980s for the purpose of selling Bad Religion records, but has since grown into one of the largest indie record labels in the world, and boasts arguably the biggest stable of artists outside of the major labels.
Epitaph have a whole swag artists on the verge of releasing their new albums and they have very kindly given us a few tracks to share with you from some of their hottest bands.
Motion City Soundtrack
The highly charged second full-length album from musical master craftsmen, Motion City Soundtrack, Commit This To Memory is a lurid audile blitz of rock, pop, punk and everything in between!
Produced by Mark Hoppus (Blink-182), Commit This To Memory is a sublime concoction of energetic melodies, catchy hooks, thumping drums, bursting keys and soaring vocals that coalesce to form an emotionally riveting album that infects your senses, grabs your heart and reminds you – all over again – why you love music!

Death By Stereo
Balancing chaos and consciousness is no easy feat, and few bands will ever do it as well as Death By Stereo has on the astonishing new disc Death For Life. Brutal and brutally honest, the album’s eleven songs come swinging at you like a bag of bricks as they embrace the extremities of hardcore and the fluid riffs of metal.
Listen to Forget Regret
The Unseen
How do you vent emotions, grow as a person and still remain punk? Ask The Unseen.
All the great punk bands were literally explosive. And isn’t the reason we listen to music in the first place to hear passion expressed? The Unseen’s music and lyrics are filled with pent up fear, confusion, lust, guilt, dread, hate, and resentment.
Their new album & first release on Hellcat Records, State Of Discontent was produced by The Dropkick Murphys’ Ken Casey and mixed by Jim Siegel and Brett Gurewitz.
Tired of fake hipsterism and mainstream ass kissing? The Unseen rise above it. Remember, pop music will lull you, punk music is meant to shake you.
