The Rammstein PR department will be popping the champagne corks this week, with news the band’s new album has been banned from public display in German shops.

The German Office for the Examination of Media Harmful to Young People has ruled that Liebe ist für alle da is a danger to impressionable young minds due to its graphic cover art, song titles and lyrics.

From 11 November, the album will only be sold under the counter in Rammstein’s home country, and won’t be advertised or sold to people under 18-years-old. People under 18-years-old just got a whole lot more interested.

The offending cover in question (pictured) depicts frontman Till Lindemann putting a cleaver to a reclining nude while his bandmates gather around. We daresay that special edition box set won’t be making it into window displays any time soon either.
