Texan indie troupe Spoon has been reasonably quiet since its visit to Australia for Big Day Out 2008. That tour saw the guys flaunting sixth album Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga, and they’ve taken their time to craft a follow-up. On 26 January 2010, though, the wait will be abated by new long-player Transference.

Coming out on Merge Records, Transference boasts 11 tracks self-produced by the band. The record includes the urgent, propulsive song Got Nuffin, which has been circulating for a while (have a listen below).
