Pulp reunion on the cards

After years of declaring it’d never happen, Jarvis Cocker has suggested Pulp will be airing out its skivvies for a return to the stage. The – œ90s Britpop heroes stopped working together after 2001’s We Love Life, but it seems any hard feelings have been put to rest.
Cocker this week told UK newspaper The People that the band is interested in “coming back” for the already sold-out 2010 Glastonbury Festival. “Glastonbury means an awful lot to me, I would love to play there again,” he hinted in an interview. “We’ve talked about it. There we go – there’ll be a band reunion.”
The Pulp frontman is of course headed our way in December for the Meredith Music Festival to charm us with songs from his second solo album Further Complications. Given Stephen Malkmus’s recent tour was closely followed by the announcement of Pavement shows down under, we can only hope the same sequence of events follows Mr Cocker…
