Cult hero Mark – œE’ Everett will offer up the eighth Eels album in January 2010. It’s a quick turnaround for the man, who took four years to follow up his 2005 effort Blinking Lights and Other Revelations with the triumphant Hombre Lobo.

The forthcoming LP is set to be named End Times, comprising 14 tracks recorded in his Los Angeles basement studio. The Eels men are regular visitors to these parts, so hopefully another collection of songs so soon means a tour isn’t far off.
