The Simpsons mastermind Matt Groening will curate his second UK All Tomorrow’s Parties in May 2010. He’ll take the reins at the event at Butlins in Minehead from 7 to 9 May, co-curating with reunited legends Pavement (did you hear: THEY’RE COMING TO AUSTRALIA FOR GOLDEN PLAINS!).
The man’s first ATP venture was back in 2003, when he handpicked bands like The Shins, Sonic Youth, Cat Power and Daniel Johnston, who Groening has long championed.
No bands have yet been announced for the 2010 edition, but fans of The Simpsons will know the music is in safe hands. Maybe that’s the kind of guy we need to bring back ATP Australia?
