It seems that Twitter is the preferred choice of press release for today’s on-the-go musician. Last week, former Guns N Roses guitarist Slash shared with his devoted followers a very interesting bit of news. “Great jamming w/Duff & Grohl tonight, the track is a killer instrumental, very heavy,” he Tweeted.

FasterLouder can only assume that this will be included as a part of his upcoming solo album titled Slash & Friends, reportedly due out in early 2010. Other confirmed guests on the album include Iggy Pop, Nick Oliveri, Flea, Jason Bonham, Ronnie Wood, Fergie and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine. That’s quite a group of friends you have there, Slash.
