The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of 2010 looks to be one of the most diverse list on nominees ever with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, LL Cool J, Kiss, Genesis, The Stooges, ABBA, The Hollies and Jimmy Cliff just a sample of who’s up for consideration.

Artists are eligible for induction to the HOF 25 years after their debut release. LL Cool J and the Chili Peppers have both made the ballot in their first year of eligibility.

We’ll have to wait until March 15th 2010 for the ballots winners to be announced. Early tips are on Kiss finally getting the nod, while if LL Cool J is successful, he will be just the third hip hop act ever inducted – alongside Grandmaster Flash and Run-DMC.
