Flaming Lips naked bike videoshoot

Followers of The Flaming Lips often celebrate the penchant of Wayne Coyne and co. for creating bizarre film clips to accompany their music. The band has so far played inside magic bubbles and shot confetti into your face while dancing with yetis.

Well, it seems the Lips are about to once again top itself, calling for fans to join them on a naked bike ride around the based of an Oregonian Mountain in Portland. It’s all for the video to new single Watching The Planets, from their latest album Embryonic.

Apparently the band is set to emerge from a giant bubble covered in wookie hair. “It’s going to look like some giant fur egg and the people on bicycles are gonna sort of be born and erupt out of this thing,” Coyne says.
