MUSE HEADS UP THE 2010 BIG DAY OUT LINE-UP – CHECK IT OUT HERE.

Obviously a little weary of the promotional circuit for new album The Resistance, Muse made its own fun this week on Italian TV show Quelli Che.

The trio was invited on the show to perform new single Uprising – or rather, pretend to perform while a backing tape played. Instead, skinsman Dom Howard stepped up to the mic for some superlative lip-syncing, while frontman Matt Bellamy did his best impression of a drummer.

i love how matt is playing around with his drum sticks and he misses like 3 or so drum beats ha ha.

i've seen a video where bloc party were made to mime at some performance (ema's, i think) and matt isn't even drumming, instead drinking wine and having a smoke ha ha ha. champions.

'it's a beautiful country, we love to be here.. and our drummer matt lives in como, so we built a studio in italy, we had a lot of fun.... you can have a lot of creativity!'

here i was thinking they were taking themselves too seriously with the resistance, but glad this proved me wrong. much more hilarious than their previous performance stunts.
