Against Me! get working

Florida punks Against Me! have returned to the studio to make a follow-up to 2007’s New Wave. The band changed its personnel in June this year (after being asked to leave, drummer Warren Oakes went on to open a Mexican restaurant), before getting down to recording.

The new recruit behind the kit is former Hot Water Music and the Draft skinsman George Rebelo. Exclaim News confirms Against Me! has again enlisted production guru/guy from Garbage Butch Vig to man the boards. Vig is most famous for his work on Nirvana’s Nevermind and Smashing Pumpkins’ Siamese Dream and also was the gun-for-hire on New Wave.
