With six albums to their opinion-dividing name, the Foo Fighters are set to get a best-of package before the year is out. Foo Fighters Greatest Hits will lift songs from their 1995 debut album right through to 2007’s Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace.

The collection is also set to include two new tracks: Word Forward and Wheels. The latter was given its first airing during a 4 July barbeque at the White House to commemorate military heroes. You won’t find a better illustration than that of the space Dave Grohl and his buddies now inhabit. Rabid enthusiasts, take heed: Foo Fighters Greatest Hits is expected 3 November.
