Police officer savagelyassaulted at Lollapalooza

The final day of US festival Lollapalooza ended in controversy on Sunday when the Chicago Tribune reported that a police officer was senselessly assaulted by a Mexican music festival madman.
Police spokeswoman Gabrielle Lesniak said the officer in question (a horse) was controlling the crowd when it was savagely punched by 21-year-old Pablo Fernandez, a citizen of Mexico without a local address.
Yes, the officer is a horse and yes, the alleged offender shall from henceforth be known as ‘that horse-puncher’ – if he can beat the charges against him of misdemeanor reckless conduct.
Despite reports Fernandez initially approached to simply pet the horse, it is unlikely any judge will look lightly upon unprovoked assault of a police officer.
FasterLouder is yet to recieve comment from festival organiser Perry Farrell on the future of the festival and it is unknown whether the horse will press charges.
