The Old Grey Mare just ain'twhat she use to be

Call it a saving grace or simply poor judgment, Aerosmith frontman Steve Tyler has injured himself falling off stage last night whilst dancing down a catwalk. Currently on their Guitar Hero: Aerosmith tour (cause they’re totally in touch with Gen Y ) the band experienced some – œtechnical difficulties’ mid-show, and in an attempt to keep the crowd entertained Tyler proceeded to shimmy around stage until he slipped off the edge injuring his neck and should.

As expected some giggle-worthy footage of the incident has already popped up on Youtube:

Tyler was airlifted to hospital shortly afterwards, with guitarist Joe Perry informing the audience that the show was over. Daughter Mia Tyler has assured Aerosmith fans via her twitter that Steve is now in a stable condition.

You’d expect a band known for their big hairdos and 80’s power ballads to be donning the bruises from stage props and flamethrowers, but it seems the old grey mare just ain’t what she use to be.
