Audioslave fans rejoice – a new album is due for release in May and first single Be Yourself, is currently receiving airplay in the US.

The band’s self-titled debut album of 2002 propelled the group (fronted by ex-Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell and consisting of former members of the now-defunct Rage Against the Machine) into notoriety, and saw the band play to hundreds of thousands during a successful world tour. They haven’t been on the road since 2003.

All that is about to change, however, as the band prepare to play clubs throughout America in April and will embark upon a European tour (no word on an Australian tour yet, folks) throughout May and June.
