Earlier this month we reported that knitwear fans Panic At The Disco were splitting in two factions. Now the departing pair – Ryan Ross and Jon Walker – have announced a new band called the Young Veins. They haven’t wasted any time getting down to business either, establishing a MySpace page with the news that a debut album is on its way.
The Young Veins’ first offering Change certainly has a paisley British lilt to it, suggesting they won’t need to abandon their moccasins just yet. Meanwhile, Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith are flaunting their productivity with a new Panic At The Disco song, New Perspective. It’s a more accessible ditty that’s sure to trouble MTV very soon. You can do a compare and contrast below.
