Rock – œn roll lotharios Jane’s Addiction have signed up for Trent Reznor’s fundraising drive to buy Nine Inch Nails fan Eric De La Cruz a heart transplant. For a $1000 donation, you and nine lucky/altruistic others will be invited into the band’s dressing room before their show for a jam session and intimate performance. Pity it only applies to the band’s NIN/JA tour across America.

According to a website post by Reznor, those who fork out can “literally stand right next to them in a small, intimate living-room type environment, grab autographs and then watch Jane’s Addiction from the side of the stage if you’d like.” A word of warning from Australia’s leading rock photographer Tony Mott though: anything can happen when you’re in the same room as Perry Farrell.

The last Twitter post from the Nine Inch Nails frontman had the total donations at $858,628.30.
