Perennial upstarts Beastie Boys have delivered the news fans want to hear: a new album is due in September. The follow-up to 2007’s instrumental outing The Mix-Up will see the guys pick up the mics again. “Our new record that is coming out that we finished the other day is called HOT SAUCE COMMITTEE,” the group announced in a statement.

Last night, they appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to drum up hype for another release – the reissue of Check Your Head. As befitting the occasion, Fallon was given a dose of vintage Beasties. The trio put in a a rousing performance of 17-year-old So Wat’cha Want, backed by star house band The Roots. Watch it below.
