Limp Bizkit return (withautocue)

What’s going on this week? A few days after Perry Farrell was snapped using a teleprompter at his birthday gig, Limp Bizkit nugget Fred Durst has followed suit at the first stop on his band’s comeback tour. According to NME, the rap-rock returnees played to a charged crowd at the Latvia Riga Arena. Latvia is the home country of turntablist DJ Lethal, but it was the Bizkit’s first-ever performance there.

All the hits you heard (or were spared) at Big Day Out 2001 got rolled out, among them Break Stuff, Nookie and George Michael cover Faith. But Durst was taking no chances on recalling poetry like, “So you can take that cookie and stick it up your, yeah!” Alongside all the pyrotechnics was a very un-hardcore autocue to jog the frontman’s memory. Check out FasterLouder’s round-up of our favourite acts who aren’t afraid of a telepromoter.
