Grizzly Bear join Summer Sonic

Frequently lavished with praise for its immersive live show, Brooklyn four-piece Grizzly Bear is on the move. Despite our assumption that the line-up for Japan’s Summer Sonic festival was signed off, three more acts have now been added: Lady Gaga (genius!), Cavalera Conspiracy and, yes, Grizzly Bear.

A quick scan of the band’s website reveals a Splendour-sized gap in their tour schedule. Call us idle dreamers, but we think it’s a pretty ripe possibility for the festival’s second round. After double Summer Sonic dates in Osaka and Japan, Grizzly Bear is doing an international festival round-robin: Øya Festival, Way Out West, Pukkelpop, Green Man Festival and the frankly enormous Austin City Limits. You’re welcome to start practicing down under, guys.
