Homeless people cover Hot Chip
Wed 29th Apr, 2009 in International News
You know you’ve made it when you’re able to convince an orchestra of homeless people to cover your music.
UK electronica outfit Hot Chip have been working with members of the homeless charity Skylight quite closely of late, with Al Doyle of the group even directing a video of the rag-tag posse covering their 2006 breakthrough hit Over And Over.
While it might all seem like a bit of fun, the Hot Chip boys have a serious motivation for it all, hoping to bring awareness to the issue of homelessness by playing a secret gig in the UK on May 5th.
You can check out the video of Over And Over below, with an introduction by Al himself.
