Arcade Fire (voted one of the FasterLouder community’s favourite bands in a rigorous and not-at-all-flawed study) is also rather beloved by Pitchfork. As fans will no doubt already know, the website is streaming Arcade Fire’s 70-minute documentary Miroir Noir until Friday.
True to the word of frontman Win Butler, its freeform structure and all-round artiness sets it apart from your typical band doco. Miroir Noir documents the recording of the Neon Bible album and the tour that followed, with several diversions and musings along the way. The film is also available in – œdeluxe edition’ DVD form through EMI, with a spoil of bonus features.
