Earth Hour thwarts AC/DC show

AC/DC fans in Zurich took a hit for the environment on Sunday night, with their stop on the – œBlack Ice’ tour called off in respect for Earth Hour.

The band pulled the plug on the gig at the last minute, with the official word reported in Swiss press being “unexplained technical difficulties”. However, the AC/DC Twitter page elaborated: “Tonight’s show postponed due to Earth Hour.” The Zurich concert sold out in less than half an hour last October, with a rescheduled date expected soon.
