What's Trent Reznor up to?

Nine Inch Nails figurehead Trent Reznor has been keeping himself busy in the lead-up to the Soundwave Festival. A series of photos have popped up on the NIN blog of Reznor looking burly and broody in a studio with what looks like Jane’s Addiction. Each update is enigmatically tagged “a look at something else that’s going on”, sending fans into a real flap.

Following photos with Jane’s Addiction players Stephen Perkins, Eric Avery and Dave Navarro (pictured here), the fifth and latest studio snap might reveal Perry Farrell if it wasn’t so dark and sullen. Could Reznor be the super-producer the revived Jane’s Addiction need? Who knows – perhaps he’ll open the floor to questions at Soundwave.
