Echoing a similar incident back in 2004, an audience member died at a Slipknot concert on the weekend. According to Nonpareilonline.com, 29-year-old fan Corey Nickels suffered a heart attack during the band’s performance at the Mid-America Center in Iowa. Nickels was rushed to hospital but could not be revived by CPR.
In 2004, it was 21-year-old Alecia Holst who died while Slipknot was onstage in Detroit. There has been no statement from the band following the death in Iowa.
