Another cracker from the news desk at The Sun: mad, bad Axl Rose has been missing for two months, much to the chagrin of Geffen Records. According to an – œinsider’, the Guns N’ Roses renegade defected from his media duties in the lead-up to the release of Chinese Democracy. “People have been trying to contact him for two months and he’s been completely AWOL,” the insider shared. “You would have thought after spending 15 years on an album you might do a few weeks promotion.”
As reported earlier by FL, Chinese Democracy has under-performed on the charts, only reaching the #1 spot in Brazil and Finland. “It is frustrating because the album would have had a much better chance of going to No. 1 if he had only been prepared to show his face,” The Sun’s star source muses. We here at FasterLouder wish Axl a happy holiday – see you in 15 years!
