M83 joins The Killers on UStour
Wed 3rd Dec, 2008 in International News
US synth-rockers The Killers certainly do have a penchant for French artists at the moment. Only a few weeks ago they stole the show at the MTV Europe Music Awards with their new stage setup, modeled almost identically on French techno luminary Etienne de Crecy’s legendary – œcube’ show. Now they’ve booked de Crecy’s fellow countryman M83 – aka Anthony Gonzalez – as the support act for their upcoming US tour.
The band are heading out on the road to support the release of their new album Day & Age, which was produced by gun-for-hire Stuart Price. Their US tour kicks off on January 17th in Denver and runs through until early February. The Killers will be in Australia a few months later as headline act for the V Festival.
