US synth-rockers The Killers certainly do have a penchant for French artists at the moment. Only a few weeks ago they stole the show at the MTV Europe Music Awards with their new stage setup, modeled almost identically on French techno luminary Etienne de Crecy’s legendary ‘cube’ show. Now they’ve booked de Crecy’s fellow countryman M83 – aka Anthony Gonzalez – as the support act for their upcoming US tour.

The band are heading out on the road to support the release of their new album Day & Age, which was produced by gun-for-hire Stuart Price. Their US tour kicks off on January 17th in Denver and runs through until early February. The Killers will be in Australia a few months later as headline act for the V Festival.
