Bon Jovi's golf-buggy lawsuit

“Get out of my way, you fucking whore!” was the war-cry of Bon Jovi crew member Kevin McDonnell before he ran over Sally Allen in a golf-buggy. At least that’s what the British lass is claiming in a $405,000 lawsuit she’s brought against the band.

In legal papers, Allen states she suffered a fractured knee, ligament damage and internal injuries after McDonnell mowed her down at a 2006 gig. Hired as a security supervisor at the venue, Allen was attempting to clear the backstage area after a fire broke out in the VIP area. She alleges McDonnell yelled, “I don’t care about your emergency situation. Get out of my way, you fucking whore. Do you know who I am? You can’t fucking stop me,” before driving over her right leg. A charmer, to be sure.

Not surprisingly, Jon Bon and co. are eager to distance themselves from any golf-buggy destruction derbies. “Mrs Allen’s claim concerns injuries she states occurred at a Bon Jovi show,” said Bon Jovi in a statement. “None of the band members were present when she blocked the pathway of a crew member, nor were they aware of any disturbance at the time.”
