The UK’s most reputable news source for non-reputable news, The Sun, has “confirmed” Led Zeppelin are planning an extensive tour for 2009. According to one of those trusty unnamed sources, Robert Plant “couldn’t face the thought of not being involved” in reunion plans. He’s said to be joining John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham in rehearsals for the upcoming shows.

Jones and Bonham were already auditioning stand-in singers for their comeback tour, including “one American [who] was so impressive they were confident they could hit the road next year without Plant.”
