Fans force Kanye to remakesong

Love Lockdown, the latest song from crazy ol’ Kanye West, received such a bum response from fans that its creator has gone back and remade it.
The first public airing of Love Lockdown – on which the rapper – œsings’ (with the assistance of a vocoder) – was a few weeks ago at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. This was of course the award ceremony he vowed never to return to, after being – œrobbed’ of various statuettes in the past and losing last year’s closing honours to Justin Timberlake.
A leaked studio version of the new track has now been criticised for poor production by many who downloaded it. Kanye, taking things to heart as he does, went back to the mixing desk to give it a touch-up. “Your prayers have been answered!” he wrote on his blog. “There’s a new version of Love Lockdown coming. We used new Taiko drums and I re-sung it – it’s being mastered now.”
The song is likely to appear on West’s next album, due for a December 2008 release. Take a listen to the leaked studio version below…
