Marilyn Manson has forgiven guitarist Wes Borland for his “really terrible” past in Limp Bizkit, signing him up to join the Marilyn Manson band. Borland follows the lead of Twiggy Ramirez, who joined Marilyn and his merry men after departing Nine Inch Nails. At a press conference last week, the frontman gave his new offsider a typically droll introduction.

“We have a new guitar player that’s gonna play for the first time tomorrow,” Manson revealed. “It’s the first time we’ll play onstage [together]. His name is Wes Borland, and he used to be in a really terrible band that he left because he felt that it was a destructive force in art, and he has his own band, Black Light Burns, but now he is in Marilyn Manson.”

The band’s first show with Borland was in Seoul, Korea, the day after the press conference.
