Tunde Adebimpe, frontman for New York outfit TV On The Radio, appears in a lead role in the new film from acclaimed director Jonathan Demme (he of Silence Of The Lambs fame). Rachel Getting Married sees Adebimpe star as Sidney, whose sister-in-law-to-be Kym ( Anne Hathaway ) threatens to derail his wedding.

These are busy times in the TVOTR camp. The band is set to release its much-anticipated new album, Dear Science, in late September, coinciding with an extensive tour of America.

Maybe we would’ve seen the record sooner if Tunde hadn’t been flouncing around Hollywood?
