Another Corgan lawsuit

According to the Chicago Tribune, Billy Corgan has sued filmmaker Lester Cohen and is seeking damages in excess of US$100,000.

It is reported that the Smashing Pumpkins frontman was unhappy with work that he had paid Cohn to complete, which included videotaping some of his concerts and studio sessions. It’s alleged that Cohen refused to hand over all of the footage which he had shot and, of the footage which was handed over, most of it “was completely unsatisfactory and not completed in a professional, workmanlike manner in accordance with the standards of a music filmmaker.”

Corgan also alleges that Cohen misrepresented his abilities and filmmaking expertise and as such, is not entitled to the monies that were paid to him. There is yet to be a reply from Cohen.
