Despite tickets not selling out and public criticism from Noel Gallagher, Glastonbury Festival headliner Jay-Z proved the doubters wrong with a solid set of the rapper’s greatest hits.

Before the headliner took the stage, a video appeared featuring footage of the Oasis frontman declaring that hip-hop has no place at the festival. Jay-Z then popped on stage with guitar to play a cover of Wonderwall, before launching into single 99 Problems.

While introducing I Know, he said, “For those who didn’t get the memo, my name is Jay-Z and I’m pretty fucking awesome!” The rest of the set featured some of Jay’s most well known tracks including Dirt Off Your Shoulders, Izzo (H.O.V.A), Big Pimpin and Heart Of The City (Ain’t No Love). In addition, he performed remixes of Rhianna’s Umbrella, Amy Winehouse’s Rehab and Lil’ Wayne’s A Millie.

And here’s Jay-Z’s rendition of Wonderwall.
