Sigur Rós try a newtongue

In more Sigur Rós news, the Splendour headliners have ventured into previously uncharted territory – the English language (and nudity!) – on their new album.
Closing track, All Alright, is singer Jon Thor Birgisson’s first foray into English lyrics. Don’t expect an easy sing-along though: the words are likely to be thoroughly Sigur Rós-ed. All will be revealed when the album, Með Suð àEyrum Við Spilum Endalaust, arrives on June 23.
Lead single Gobbledigook is now circulating, with a striking video attached. In it, a gaggle of nude frolickers get back to nature, running through woods and letting it all flap about. While it’s perhaps not fit for full-screen office viewing, the cinematography and direction by Ryan McGinley is quite lovely indeed. Watch it below, or in high definition HERE.
Revel in bare-skinned beauty with the Gobbledigook video.
