Steven Tyler back in rehab

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has re-joined the rehab merry-go-round. Unlike Winehouse et al. though, he was allegedly clean for 20 years.

Tyler battled drug addiction in the – œ70s and early – œ80s, earning himself and fellow Aerosmith caner Joe Perry the tag of – œThe Toxic Twins’. Four stints in rehab followed, before the singer got clean and banned drugs within the band.

Now, two decades later, he has been admitted into Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, California for “substance abuse treatment”. Adding to the unpleasantness of the whole situation is the fact that two years ago Tyler was diagnosed with hepatitis C, potentially caused by shared needles. After intensive chemotherapy, he rid himself of the disease…but it appears that other affliction has crept back.
