Get Head this year
Wed 16th Apr, 2008 in International News
Former Korn guitarist Brian – œHead’ Welch has promised to drop his long-awaited debut album Save Me From Myself in Spring this year. Although, it is not the first time the album has had a tentative release. Head has announced the album would be released each year since leaving the nu-metal super group Korn back in 2005.
Despite a media storm upon leaving Korn, and his New York Times best-selling autobiography Save Me From Myself, news on Welch has been very hard to come by in recent years. But with the launch of a brand new MySpace page and a new official website in the works, it seems the man affectionately known as – œHead’ has finally come out of seclusion in Arizona.
The album has also noticeably undertaken a title change. Originally penned as It’s Time To See Religion Die, Head has confirmed that the debut album has been also named Save Me From Myself. The debut will feature renowned musicians Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, Alice Cooper, David Bowie) and Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle, Evanescence, Nine Inch Nails) and was mixed by the Grammy award-winning Bob Clearmountain.
Stay tuned for the album’s release date here on FasterLouder.
