Joan Wasser’s voice has been described as so wondrous and moving that it makes everyone else’s seem ordinary and mundane.

Joan As Police Woman’s debut album, Real Life, was universally acclaimed. Two years since this critical and commercial success comes the much anticipated follow-up, To Survive. The album is scheduled for release on June 14 and will be preceded by a single, ‘To Be Loved’. Fans can listen to it exclusively here as of Monday March 10.

Real Life brought Joan Wasser out of the shadows and established her as that rare thing, a truly unique and original voice. Songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist, Joan has bewitched fans across the world over the last two years and is set to garner a wealth of new devotees with To Survive.

To Survive is an album of unashamedly heartfelt songs, in Joan’s words: “I am always trying to dig deeper into the emotional experience. I want to access the most honest place I can, distill it and present it in a way that makes sense musically.”

Live dates as of June worldwide will be announced soon.
