If those all-knowing ‘insiders’ are to be believed, producer-to-the-stars Mark Ronson is getting behind the boards on Kaiser Chiefs’ third album.
An ‘exclusive source’ told XFM this week that Ronson has already entered the studio with the Chiefs.
“We’ve got a load of new songs ready for the new album – we’re busy playing them, rehearsing them and writing a load more,” drummer Nick Hodgson revealed. “There’s a big difference between these songs are our old stuff. It’s definitely worth people getting excited about hearing these as they’re gonna be so different.
“There’s one tune that we did on the last tour called Never Miss A Beat which has the potential to be huge.”
Note the conspicuous absence of the words “Mark Ronson”. Ah well, what would the band know anyway?
